Transparent Approach

Pricing

We don't post flat-rate prices because every home is different. What we can do is show you exactly what drives the cost — so you understand what you're paying for before any work begins.

Why We Don't Post Fixed Prices

A "starting at $X" number without context is meaningless. A home with easy attic access, open basement runs, and 4 drops is a very different project than a two-story finished home with concrete exterior walls and 20 drops.

We believe in quoting honestly, after a real walkthrough — so you know exactly what's included, exactly what it will cost, and exactly what you'll get.

Cost Variables

What Affects Your Quote

📐

Home Size & Layout

Square footage, number of floors, and construction materials (concrete, steel studs) all affect labor time and cable run lengths.

📍

Number of Cable Drops

Each wired location (room, TV point, office, camera) requires its own ethernet run. More drops mean more cable, more labor, and more patch panel ports.

📶

Number of Access Points

Larger homes or multi-floor layouts need more WiFi access points for full coverage. Each access point requires a wired drop and a powered switch port.

🎥

Camera Count

Each wired camera needs a dedicated ethernet run back to the recorder or switch. Outdoor runs, conduit requirements, and mounting complexity affect pricing.

💡

Smart Device Count

The number of smart switches, sensors, locks, and devices integrated into the smart home platform affects setup time and hardware costs.

🗄️

Rack vs. Structured Panel

A full rack enclosure provides more capacity and better organization than a structured media cabinet but requires more space and has higher hardware costs.

🏗️

Labor Complexity

Attic and crawlspace access, finished walls, long runs, and tight routing paths increase labor time. Unfinished basements are typically the easiest to work in.

🔋

Battery Backup & Power Protection

Adding battery backup to core networking and recording equipment ensures uptime during outages. Sizing depends on what needs to be protected.

📋

Custom Quote Policy

All systems are custom quoted after an in-person or virtual consultation.

Pricing is subject to change based on current hardware costs and final project scope. We'll provide a written estimate before any work begins — no surprises.
